Editorial policy
Sources
- Figures and rules (contribution rates, minimum wages, statutory requirements) come from primary sources wherever possible: government agencies, statutory bodies and official legislation databases.
- Where we rely on a service provider's own information, such as its prices or coverage, we say so and link to it.
- Our guides show the source of each factual figure and the date it was checked.
Review before publication
- Drafts may be prepared with the help of software tools, including AI assistants.
- Our editorial process includes human review of content before publication, including checking facts against the cited sources.
- We do not publish pages written only to attract search traffic. We do not publish large numbers of near-identical pages.
Independence
- Our comparisons are based on documented facts.
- A possible commission does not decide which providers we include or how we describe them.
- We do not accept payment for positive coverage.
- If we ever have a commercial relationship with a provider we mention, we disclose it on that page.
What our content is, and is not
Our guides are general information to help you understand options and ask better questions. They are not legal, tax, payroll or employment advice. Rules change, and individual circumstances differ.
Corrections
